Dear Sir or Ms:

Last evening (September 3) at shortly after 6:30pm, I visited your drive-thru and ordered two Frisco melt sandwiches, two chocolate milkshakes, and a large order of onion rings. I paid $28.77 for this order using my VISA card.

When I got home, I found that I had not received the large order of onion rings. I called the telephone number listed in your Internet site (twice) and the phone just rang until it stopped.

Providing me with a large order of onion rings and the obligatory “Sorry ‘bout that.” is not a sufficient remedy because I do not want the onion rings now; I wanted them when I ordered them. Since, I was the only customer there at that time and there were only three items (with two doubles) in the order, I did not anticipate a problem. So, I didn’t check on the package contents before leaving. My fault. I clearly underestimated you.

I’d appreciate it if you’d send me a check for the value of the onion rings, something over $4 by my estimates, to the address below. I think it should arrive there in less than a week from the Post Office date on this letter.
