I have been a customer of your Acme store located at 4365 Kirkwood Hwy Wilmington, De 19808 for 44 years, yes I said 44 years. The first 30 years this location was the Path Mark store until your company bought it.
I point this out to you to let you know that I am a very loyal customer but over the past ten years I have become increasingly disappointed with the overall shopping experience. This store is depressing to shop in ...it is dirty, poorly staffed, understaffed, broken cases, outdated lighting , horrible ID of pricing...I could continue for another 30 minutes but suffice to say I have reached a level of disgust that I can no longer contain.
I have begun going out of my way to shop at other markets to avoid your lack of concern for your patrons. I I am sure that you are aware of these conditions that I mentioned and resent that no improvements have been made since you purchased this location some 15 years ago.
I would suggest that you immediately close this store, gut it completely and install new electric, flooring, paint , cabients ( cold & frozen) to make this a place where people will want to come to shop and spend their money. At this point I feel cheated by your lack of attention and concern to so many obvious issues. This is by no means a recent issue, it seems obvious that your management would rather spend money on other areas where they have stores,
I will continue to go out of my way to shop in stores where they have better merchandise at fair prices, clean environment and seem to appreciate my business.
Many of my neighbors feel the same way as myself
and are shopping at your competitors . We would rather shop at your store if the serious charges I presented are corrected.
