• I recently added my disabled nephew to my account, he went one time and wasn’t comfortable and didn’t want to come back so I took his name off and now In-Shape is charging me $10 for some reason. I’ve already had several months of no attendance due to several illnesses and I’m asking to be waved of any extra charges.

• I had an interesting discussion regarding pool maintenance protocols at the location on McHenry Ave in Modesto this week. I qualified for Olympic trials when I was 15. I've swam well over 10,000 miles, and my background in pool maintenance and municipality regulations are advanced. I found a myopic response based on limited experience. Having the ability to listen beyond the administrative box we are placed in is a skill very few appear to possess. I work with MBA's that couldn't find their way out of a wet paper bag. Intelligence and theory minus experience. I found this manager to lack the ability to believe that I could know something that she did not. Extremely disrespectful and rigid, without consideration for the member or the possibility that
  I had In Shape best interests in mind. I have found the most used communication technique today is not informational shared debate, but emotional response based upon lack of authentic engagement. Denial of seeking a resolution is the opposite. i.e. Thank you for the information you shared with me today I will get back to you this week and let you know what I can find. I have legitimate health concerns regarding maintenance.
